Quote tokens for perpetuals and granular asset categories

Quote tokens for perpetuals and granular asset categories
Perpetual positions now display their full trading pair, and assets are classified into a richer hierarchical category system.

Base and quote token display

Perp positions previously showed only the base asset symbol (e.g., “BTC”). They now display the complete pair as BTC / USDT, ETH / USDC, or DAX / EUR depending on the exchange and settlement currency. This covers all supported perpetual and futures exchanges including Binance, Bybit, Hyperliquid, Deribit, Derive, Ostium, Paradex, Reya, and others.

Granular asset categories

Assets are now classified into a richer, hierarchical category system. The previous flat labels (BTC, ETH, SOL, Stablecoins, Tokens, Fiat, NFTs, Memecoins) have been replaced by five top-level groups with more specific subcategories:
  • Major — BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, APT, SUI
  • RWA — Fiat, Commodities, Stocks, Indices
  • Stablecoins
  • NFTs
  • Tokens — Memecoins, DeFi, Staking, AI, Infrastructure, Gaming, Privacy
Allocation charts, position filters, and asset grouping throughout the app now use these categories, giving you a clearer breakdown of what you hold.

Redesigned Strategies, MCP server, and public API

Strategy page redesign
Strategies get interactive charts and time range analysis. AI agents can now query your portfolio via MCP. New public API endpoints are available for strategies.

Strategy page redesign

The strategy detail page replaces the three summary cards with an interactive performance chart. A Value/PnL tab switcher lets you toggle between tracking total value against cumulative funding and viewing profit and loss. The PnL view supports two modes: a waterfall bar chart showing daily changes, and a continuous line chart showing cumulative PnL.The position selector now includes search and column filters (by type, platform, asset, account) so managing which positions belong to a strategy is faster.

MCP server

Lighthouse now exposes an MCP server for AI agents like Claude, Cursor, and similar tools. Connect your Lighthouse account and query portfolios, positions, strategies, performance, and snapshots through natural language.Authentication uses OAuth with a consent screen — authorize once and the agent maintains access with refresh tokens.

Public API for strategies

Two new public API endpoints let you list and view strategies programmatically:
  • GET /strategies — list strategies for a portfolio, filterable by status and accounting currency.
  • GET /strategies/:strategyId — full detail including positions, funding logs, snapshot history, and optionally comments.

Options support, Polymarket, and asset holdings chart

Options positions and Polymarket
Lighthouse now supports options positions with greeks across Deribit, Derive, and Rysk, and tracks Polymarket prediction markets.

Options support: Deribit, Derive, and Rysk

Lighthouse now supports options positions with greeks when available, alongside strategy identification (Covered Call, Cash-Secured Put, etc.), strike price, expiry, and style (American/European). Each option reports both its current or estimated portfolio value and its delta exposure.Perpetual futures are also tracked for Deribit and Derive.

Polymarket

Lighthouse now tracks Polymarket positions. Enable the Polymarket Account Extension on any EVM account and your prediction market positions are pulled automatically.

Asset holdings chart

The asset detail page now has three chart tabs: Price, $ Value, and Amount. Value shows the total USD worth of your holdings over time. Amount shows the raw token quantity. Both are built from daily portfolio snapshots.

Comments and redesigned Asset page

Comments and Asset page feature
Portfolio decisions lose context over time. You forget why a position was opened, what drove that drawdown, or how a strategy evolved. Comments fix that.

Comments

You can now attach comments directly to:
  • Daily portfolio performance on the chart
  • A specific account
  • Manual positions
  • Strategies
Track why the portfolio moved on a given day, how a strategy evolved, or how an account was used. Comments are also available via the API.

New Asset page

The asset page is rebuilt for faster asset-level analysis and position discovery.
  • Price chart front and center for immediate context
  • Filter by account to instantly find where a position lives

PRO & TEAM plans: faster syncs, cleaner structure

New PRO and TEAM plans
Lighthouse plans now come with faster data, simpler limits, and better structure for complex portfolios. Prices stay the same, and existing users inherit most improvements.

Workspaces for everyone

All Lighthouse users now operate inside a Workspace — the logical container for portfolios and members. For individual users this is mostly invisible. For TEAM plans, it’s essential for managing multiple portfolios, users, permissions, and billing cleanly.

PRO updates

  • Faster syncs: 20-minute cooldown (SyncBank now included)
  • Multiple portfolios: 2 included, up to 5 max
  • Accounts: Start with 50, scale to 100 via add-ons

TEAM updates

  • Workspace-first management for portfolios, members, access, and payments
  • Higher base limit: 50 accounts included (was 25)
  • More add-ons: Go beyond 5 portfolios and 5 members (included in the base plan)

Impact on existing users

  • CORE: No changes
  • PRO: Keep 100 accounts and get the new 20-minute sync cooldown by default. Optional upgrade to the new PRO plan for multiple portfolios.
  • TEAM: Workspace with members and portfolio management is live. Some teams may see lower bills due to higher included limits.
Teams below $5M can request a discount on their TEAM plan — get in touch.

Ostium integration, Bitcoin xpub support, and keyboard shortcuts

New integrations and keyboard shortcuts

Ostium integration

Lighthouse now supports Ostium as an Account Extension. Enable it from the Accounts page and Lighthouse automatically pulls open positions and margin with uPnL. All assets on Ostium are supported.

Bitcoin extended public key (xpub) support

Hardware wallet users no longer need to import individual Bitcoin addresses. Paste your xpub, ypub, or zpub directly when adding a Bitcoin account and Lighthouse derives all associated addresses and tracks balances across them.

Keyboard shortcuts

Navigate faster with keyboard shortcuts:
  • G + key to jump to key pages (e.g. G + O for Overview, G + S for Strategies)
  • Cmd/Ctrl + D to toggle light and dark mode
  • Cmd/Ctrl + H to hide amounts across the app
Hover over any sidebar item to see its shortcut.

December 7 outage: root cause and fixes

Outage report
On 7 December 2025 at 9:30 UTC, the Lighthouse frontend became unresponsive — most users saw a permanent loading screen. Access was restored at 14:00 UTC with all systems operational, though some users were logged out and some syncs were delayed.

Cause

A subsystem handling ephemeral storage had its internal data corrupted. This component sits on the critical path of the authentication flow and sync scheduling.

Prevention

The immediate fix was provisioning a fresh instance. Beyond that, we are removing this component from the critical path entirely so that any future failure results in slightly degraded performance at worst — not total inaccessibility. Monitoring for this part of the infrastructure is also being expanded.

AI-powered Bulk Import: add tens of accounts in seconds

AI Bulk Import feature

Import up to 50 accounts at a time in seconds. To protect your data and privacy, we use only zero-data retention AI models that don’t store or train on your data.
